Race Operations
Ron and some of the team got to the track Wednesday and secured paddock
space, and set up Camp BiggsB. Tom got to the track early
Thursday afternoon. The drivers rotated through setting up the
suspension, but were taking it easy on the engine until it was fully
broken in. The car is very comfortable, and easy to drive.
Breaking it in
For some reason the radios stopped working. They worked fine in
testing in the shop, but at the track, so far the driver can transmit,
but cannot hear. After some time was spent troubleshooting, it
was
decided to go back to the lass powerful radios from last year.
There was already problems, as the The Special Operations Warrior
Foundation Scion apparently rolled going up the hill into turn 9. Not
sure if they are going to make the race, but they have been working
hard all night, and it looks like it should make it. Hopefully
they make it back in as they are a charity fund
raising effort for children of Special Ops Soldiers who were KIA.

Trooper
The track is currently closed for lunch, while a team from Google takes
pictures of the track for their Street View, and the crew applies the
numbers and sponsor decals to the car.
